Janet KNIGHT | Administrator

​Janet is the proud mom of 3 kids, and Nana to 6 wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys great outdoors by hunting and fishing and spending time at the camps with her husband and family. She's a great hibachi cook and has mastered the art of the volcano. 

Renee Freeman | Billing












Raegan is mom to a precious baby girl and her first baby, Juno, an English Mastiff. Outside of work, she runs a cookie business creating custom sugar cookies. She's a lover of big dogs, power tools, and office supplies. 

Chelsea Barron |      Front Office

Chelsey is a life long resident of Vidalia, LA. She is married to Thomas and has a beautiful bonus daughter, Remi. Chelsey is also a local youth pastor at Cornerstone Church in Natchez. She has devoted her life to helping the youth of the Miss-Lou. She loves elephants, road trips, spending quality time with her friends and family, and being spontaneous.

Jake Smilo |                  Front Office

Jake is a resident of Natchez. He graduated from Cathedral High School in 2014 and went on to attend Ole Miss. He is an Eagle Scout. Jake enjoys working out, hiking, and visiting national parks. He also enjoys cooking for his family and friends.  

When you enter our clinic, you’ll be greeted by the front office staff. Our front office handles all of your information in-house, from answering the phones to admissions and medical records. We want you to know that your care is important to us, which is why our staff will answer the phone instead of a recording. For an initial evaluation, our office staff enters all of your information into the computer before your appointment so that the therapist has everything at their fingertips during your visit.

Gordon Smith | MS, PT

Gene was born and raised in Brookhaven, Ms. He graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy from UMMC in Jackson, MS. He has over 30 years of experience as a Physical Therapist. He is also recently certified in Dry Needling. In his spare time, Gene enjoys playing music and walking along the bluffs. 

Heather Johnson | LPTA

Heather is a Physical Therapist Assistant and she graduated from Hinds Community College. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Cheryl Sanford-Givens | MS, PT

Cheryl graduated from Florida A & M University and has been a pediatric physical therapist for 29 years. 

LaDrekia Culbert | PTA

Ladrekia is a Physical Therapist Assistant and she graduated from Hinds Community College in 2019. She loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Whitney Arthur | MS, PT

Whitney is a graduate of Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, La with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011. She is married to Barrett and they have 2 beautiful daughters. Whitney loves working in all different areas of physical therapy, but has a special place in her heart for pediatrics. 


Maria Smilo | MS, CCC-SLP Owner

Maria graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a co-owner of Key Rehab Associates,Inc. and has over 28 years of experience working with children and adults. Maria is the mom of Jake and Rachel and lover of Amazon.


Jodi Kelley | MS, CCC-SLP

Jodi is a speech language pathologist and former preschool teacher. Jodi graduated from Delta State University and then went on to attend University of Mississippi where she obtained her Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology. She is a breast cancer survivor and has been in remission since early 2021. She loves her husband, Chris, her daughters, Mary Evans and Maggie (and husband Zach), spending time with her mom, chocolate, Ole Miss, and McDonald’s hamburgers. Her family attends and enjoys being active at Jefferson Street United Methodist Church. 


Kristy Arthur | MS, CCC-SLP

Krsty has been a pediatric speech pathologist for 14 years. She lives in Ferriday, LA on Lake Concordia with her husband Brannon, 2 children Anna and Hays, and dogs Rue and Fritz. While not at work, she enjoys being on the lake, reading, coaching rec sports teams, music, and Saints football. Her Key Rehab family and wonderful patients make her job the best!! 

Abby Massey | MS, CCC-SLP

Abby graduated from Louisiana State University in 2019 and LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans in 2021. She is a big believer in considering dogs as kids, coffee as a food group and that "Children are not a distraction from important work. They are the most important work." -Dr John Tra

April Swilley | MS, CCC-SLP

April is a speech language pathologist and has been treating patients since 2016. She is graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School and Jackson State University. She has received special training tethered oral tissue and augmentative and alternative communication devices. April is married to Seth and has two children, Liana and Ian. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with her family.

Occupational Therapy


Andrew David | OTR/L

Drew graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.A. in Psychology in 2010 and from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2013. He has been an OT at Key Rehab since 2013. Drew will be married to his fiancée Sidney McLeod in December 2021. He attends Mass at St Mary Basilica and is an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Drew also performs locally as a guitarist and pianist. He is an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, New Orleans Saints, and Ole Miss Rebels. 

Robin Brown | OTR/L

Robin is a 2013 graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, TN receiving her Master’s of Occupational Therapy. She originally began her OT career in 2006 as an Occupational Therapy Assistant graduating from Holmes Community College. Robin is happily married to her husband, Jeff, a mother of 3 (Julianne, Lawson, and Tate) and enjoys family vacations, country living, music, and good food.

Ashley Hester | COTA/L

Ashley is a Natchez native. She is a graduate from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Pearl River Community College. She is happily married to her husband Matt and has a daughter named Alyssa Claire. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, crafting, and binging her favorite shows. Ashley loves being able to make a difference in children’s lives everyday and says she can’t imagine doing anything else.


Cathy Roboski | OTR/L


Cathy graduated from Northeast LA University in 1988, she is a co-owner of Key Rehab Associates Inc. and has 30 years of experience as an OT. She feels very blessed to love what she does so much and thinks we have a wonderful staff whom all place patient needs first. 

Anna Grace Roboski | COTA/L

Anna Grace Roboski grew up in Natchez and is a graduate of Vidalia High School. She attended Pearl River Community College in Hattiesburg to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant, graduating in 2017. With her main focus in pediatrics, Anna Grace spends her mornings traveling between districts for school based therapy and afternoons treating outpatient pediatrics Key Rehab. When she’s not at work, Anna Grace enjoys reading, traveling, thrift shopping, and taking naps.

Danielle Russell | OTR/L

Danielle is married to Jason and is the very busy mom of 3 girls. She is very devoted to her church and takes a mission trip to Haiti every year. Danielle has been with Key Rehab since its opening in 1999.

Christina Welch | COTA/L

Christina graduated as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2014. She is from north Louisiana but currently resides in Vidalia, LA with her husband Josh, dog Owen, and cat Nala. She enjoys traveling, reading, going to concerts, going to church, and watching sports with her husband and Dad. 

When scheduling your appointments, we offer a variety of times to work around your schedule to the best of our ability. Our front office maintains direct contact with all of our therapists to better assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. We do not outsource your medical records or information to anyone. We have an in-office billing staff that handles all of your insurance questions and needs. We speak directly with your insurance company to work out any problems that may arise. Patient statements are printed and mailed directly from our office. If you have any questions or need to make a payment, we can handle that here in office, by phone, email, or mail. We feel that choosing where to attend therapy is an important decision. We offer facility tours to anyone looking to find a therapy home.
